Bonjour Jean-Christophe
The parish of St. Clement Danes is in the City of Westminster, London.
The parish registers of St. Clement Danes are available online at the FamilySearch website. Baptisms (1558 – 1875) and marriages (1558 – 1885).
Go to the following website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyLondon_including_Middlesex_(N-Z).htm#W IGI Batch Numbers for London including Middlesex (N-Z), England
Scroll down to Saint Clement Danes .
Click on the batch number (Cxxxxxx) next to the relevant dates. On the next page either enter the surname (Sexton) in the search box (top right) and click “Submit query”. This will take you directly to the FamilySearch page with all the Sexton/Saxtons displayed or leave the search box empty to show the complete batch.
The registers are held by: The City of Westminster Archives Centre 10 St Ann’s Street London SW1P 2DE England
Tel: 020 7641 5180 Fax: 020 7641 5179 Email: archives@westminster.gov.uk Website: http://www.westminster.gov.uk/archives/index.cfm
The following dates are covered: St Clement Danes Baptisms 1558-1972 Confirmations 1912-1939 Banns 1810-1972 Marriages 1558-1986 Burials 1558-1890
You may visit the Westminster Archives centre yourself, or, if you are unable to visit the Archives Centre they can supply copies of parish register entries where the exact date is known. The charge for this service is £4.00 per entry. Cheques should be made payable to the City of Westminster and posted, along with full details of the request, to the above address.
