My great grandfather was Lorenz Schneider who homesteaded in the Stanley - Boyd area around 1888. His wife was Mary (Reiderer) and his children included my grandfather Carl, and Carl's siblings: Frank, Edward, George, Hattie, Albert, Lena, Mary. I believe a Lawrence Schneider has done some research and is still alive, but I don't know how to contact him. Many of the descendents still live in the area.
